With its name roughly translating as ‘Boulder Beach’ it is named for the distinctive orange/red cliffs that surround its golden sand. The beach is found between Albufeira and Vilamoura and stretches for miles. Head towards the Vilamoura end of this picturesque beach and you’ll find the crowds start to thin, making for a much more relaxing and tranquil experience.
